✔️ Your role at Cheil: Digital Copywriter & Translator

✔️ Responsabilities:

We are looking for a native Spanish Copywriter & Translator to support the creation, adaptation and quality control of marketing and communication materials for the Spanish market. This role combines copywriting, translation and transcreation, ensuring that all content is not only linguistically accurate, but also culturally relevant, commercially effective and aligned with brand tone of voice.

This is not a pure translation role. We are looking for someone who can adapt messages with judgement, write naturally for different channels, and preserve the intent, impact and clarity of each communication piece. He will also create content from scratch.

✔️ Requirements:

• Write, translate and adapt content into Spanish across a wide range of marketing and communication assets.
• Develop and localize copy for digital campaigns, websites, landing pages, CRM communications, email marketing, paid media, banners, social media, push notifications, SMS and promotional materials
• Ensure all messaging is aligned with the brand tone of voice while remaining natural and locally relevant for the Spanish market.
• Go beyond literal translation by applying transcreation when needed, especially for claims, headlines, CTAs and campaign messages.
• Review and proofread content translated from English, ensuring linguistic quality, consistency and local accuracy.
• Work closely with marketing, CRM, design, social media, performance, UX and production teams to deliver high-quality content on time.
• Support editorial QA processes before campaign launch or publication.
• Maintain consistency in terminology, style and messaging across all touchpoints.

✔️ Experience and Skills:

• Native or equivalent level in European Spanish.
• Native or equivalent level of English to work from source materials and briefs.
• Previous experience in copywriting, translation, transcreation or content adaptation for marketing environments.
• Ability to write for different tones, formats and audiences depending on channel and business objective.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of linguistic quality.
• Good understanding of how copy supports engagement, conversion and brand consistency.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and content volumes in a dynamic environment.

✔️Nice to Have:

• Experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, CRM or multichannel campaigns.
• Familiarity with SEO copywriting, UX writing or email marketing best practices.
• Experience working with international brands and local market adaptation.
• Previous involvement in editorial review or content QA workflows.
