We are looking to hire a Senior Technical SEO for our Madrid office , with at least 5 years of proven experience and solid knowledge across the different areas that impact organic search performance.

Specifically, we are looking for a technical SEO expert with leadership skills and experience managing high-level clients.

Specifically, we are looking for a technical SEO expert with leadership skills and experience managing high-level clients.

Responsibilities 1. Strategy and planning

Support the project manager in defining and executing the SEO strategy, with a focus on crawling, indexing, site structure, duplicate content, content optimization, etc.

Define technical SEO action plans with the internal team and the client, aligning tasks with project objectives.

Conduct technical and strategic SEO audits, presenting clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.

Contribute to internal projects : developing workflows, scripts and tools, to optimize both internal and client-side processes.

2. Technical consulting and client support

Maintain direct and ongoing communication with clients, providing technical support at every stage of the project.

Participate in workshops, training sessions, and technical meetings with clients in Spain and abroad.

Ensure correct implementation of the SEO strategy within the client’s technical environment, working closely with their development teams.

3. Technical problem-solving

Identify and resolve complex technical issues : crawls, migrations, rendering (HTML, JS), page speed, log analysis, server setup, hosting, etc.

Conduct technical competitor and market analysis, identifying risks and opportunities.

4. Measurement, monitoring, and continuous improvement

Define measurement systems for projects (technical KPIs, crawl performance, indexability, visibility, etc.) and ensure ongoing monitoring.

Interpret technical data to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on actual results.

Requirements 1. Education and mindset

University degree or technical training in Technology, Engineering, or Web Development.

Proactive, committed individual with an analytical mindset and solution-oriented approach.

Keen interest in continuous learning and staying up to date with developments in the SEO field.

2. Technical knowledge

Proven experience improving Core Web Vitals, Page Speed, UX, and CRO.

Experience in Python and ability to execute scripts is a plus.

Highly valued : experience with AI-powered automation, building workflows using Make, n8n, or similar tools, working with APIs (OpenAI, Google Search Console, DataForSEO, SERP Value...), and managing MCPs.

3. Tools and data analysis

Demonstrable a dvanced knowledge of Screaming Frog (latest versions).

A dvanced knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

Familiarity with other Google tools like Tag Manager and Google Ads.

Demonstrable a dvanced skills in Google Sheets / Excel (complex formulas, filters, automation).

Proficiency in SEO tools such as Sistrix, Ahrefs, Semrush, among others.

Ability to analyze large volumes of data and extract actionable insights.

4. Languages and communication

High level of Spanish and English, both spoken and written . This is essential, as daily communication with international clients (emails, calls, video meetings) is required. Interviews will be conducted in English.

Additional languages will be positively valued.
