We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our Spain Strategic Operations team who is passionate about designing and building creative solutions for our most complex problems. You will work closely with our leadership team, and drive alignment across the entire organization, including Product, Engineering, and Customer Support.
In this Operations Manager role, you will help shape the strategy and optimize Delivery operations in one of our Marketplace verticals while collaborating with others as Eater (Consumer), and Merchant. You’ll design and lead high-impact projects and experiments to drive growth and efficiency. This role will partner closely with Product, Territory (Local) Operations, Finance, Tech, and Customer Support teams to execute key priorities and measure results.

What the Candidate Will Do
- Project Management : you will oversee projects from their initial definition until their final implementation. You will also be responsible for defining and following project KPIs. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with many different teams in Spain and worldwide, ensuring alignment, and quick execution - all while maintaining Uber's high standards for operational execution!
- Process & Tool Creation : you will be in charge of creating scalable processes and tools for our local teams on the ground and merchant partners.
- Data analysis : Uber wouldn't be Uber without almost unlimited access to data. You will autonomously create your own analyses and dashboards to measure the success of your projects. Analyze sophisticated data, build models, and aggregate insights to drive key business decisions and policies.
- Translate data insights into clear, actionable recommendations : Advise senior leadership on long-term strategy and decision-making by defining critical metrics, developing dashboards, and delivering strategic insights.
- Interactions with Tech teams : you will maintain links between on-the-ground teams and our Product teams based in San Francisco, New York and Amsterdam. You will be the voice of the Spanish market, helping to prioritize future product changes, and you'll help launch new product features each week across your market.
Basic Qualifications
Over 2 years of professional experience in a related field (consulting, investment banking, technology, operations, strategy, or analytics)Knowledge in SQL and Excel / Google SheetsBachelor's degree, preferably in an engineering field, with a strong foundation in data and codingFluent in both Spanish and EnglishStrategic and creative mindset, with the ability to solve complex problems critical to improving merchant operationsThrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable with ambiguityStrong collaborator with excellent communication skills and a desire to work cross-functionallyPreferred Qualifications
Proficient in SQL, process automation, and AI tools.
