Senior SAP Finance Process Lead
We are looking for an experienced and talented senior finance‑transformation leader responsible for driving SAP S/4HANA Finance strategy, overseeing solution architecture, team building, and stakeholder alignment across global finance organizations. This role combines deep functional expertise with strong people leadership, owning both successful program outcomes and the growth, engagement, and capability development of managers, consultants, and future leaders.

What Will You Do – Responsibilities

Lead large‑scale SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations, migrations, and global rollouts.

Own SAP S/4HANA FICO solution architecture and design, balancing standardization, scalability, and business value.

Guide finance leadership through S/4HANA roadmaps, value realization planning, and post‑go‑live optimization.

Oversee all S/4 process leads across Record to Report (FICO) as they support the business in design, test, and implementation of standard processes globally.

Provide senior oversight across FI (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, New GL) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, Product Costing, CO‑PA).

Lead end‑to‑end finance process design across Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P), Plan‑to‑Produce (PTP), and Order‑to‑Cash (O2C).

Champion adoption of S/4HANA Finance innovations, including Universal Journal, Material Ledger, SAP Fiori, and real‑time analytics.

Act as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership, Controllers, CFO organizations, and executive sponsors.

Lead workshops, design reviews, and process alignment sessions with business stakeholders.

Translate business, regulatory, and accounting requirements into scalable SAP Finance solutions.

Support roadmap discussions, investment cases, and proposal or business‑case development.

Build and scale high‑performing, diverse SAP Finance teams, ensuring the right mix of skills across functional, technical, and leadership capabilities.

Provide regular coaching, feedback, and mentorship, developing future leaders and succession pipelines within the SAP Finance organization.

Set clear expectations, goals, and development plans for team members, aligned to enterprise ERP priorities and delivery standards.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, inclusion, and continuous learning across the team.

Align with Corporate and Local Business leads to understand upcoming and ongoing initiatives and projects striving for consolidation and harmonization of business processes.

Who You Are – Qualifications
Education

Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

Language Skills

English – Advanced (C1).

Years and Type Of Experience

10+ years of SAP FICO experience, including multiple S/4HANA Finance implementations or migrations.

Deep knowledge of accounting principles (US GAAP, IFRS, or local statutory requirements).

Proven experience leading large, complex ERP transformation programs and other financial initiatives.

Operational expertise or a background in an operational department at supervisor level.

Experience with Central Finance, Group Reporting, or advanced controlling scenarios.

Anticipated travel of 20–30% in normal circumstances.
