Currently, we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller (M/F) to join our team at our San Fernando de Henares offices in Madrid. The candidate will be responsible for providing support in all aspects of the Group's financial management.
Responsibilities
• Oversight of the preparation of both individual and consolidated financial statements.
• In‐depth analysis of financial statements, including variances versus budget; monthly budget control with detailed explanations on revenues, OPEX, and cash generation.
• Management and monitoring of cash flow performance.
• Preparation of financial reporting in full compliance with Group requirements.
• Regular reporting to the Executive Committee (ExCom) and Regional Managing Directors.
• Active participation in annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Design and recommendation of process improvements and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensuring financial quality assurance and control over Group-wide transactions.
• Close collaboration with all departments across the organization to support informed decision-making.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
• Flexible, proactive, and dynamic, with the capacity to adapt to evolving business needs.
Requirements
• University degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in finance, with a solid background in the energy sector.
• Proven experience in controlling, including budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• English: High level, both spoken and written.
• Availability to travel.
