Machine Learning Engineer – 9-Month Contract | Madrid / Barcelona (Hybrid)

Are you ready to work on the cutting edge of AI? We’re seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join a pioneering Quantum AI team developing solutions that make AI faster, greener, and more accessible for global enterprises.

What You’ll Do :

Design and develop techniques to compress Large Language Models (LLMs) using quantum-inspired technologies.

Conduct rigorous evaluations, benchmarks, and fine-tuning to improve model accuracy, robustness, and efficiency.

Build LLM-based applications such as RAG pipelines and AI agents.

Deliver custom deep learning models for clients across multiple domains, including computer vision.

Share expertise, mentor junior engineers, and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Stay up to date with emerging LLM and AI research, recommending tools and technologies as appropriate.

What We’re Looking For :

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in AI, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

2+ years of hands-on experience designing, training, or fine-tuning deep learning models (transformer or CV models preferred).

Excellent command of HuggingFace Transformers, PyTorch, and related libraries.

Strong foundations in deep learning theory, GPU architectures, and LLM infrastructure.

Experience deploying AI solutions in the cloud (AWS preferred) and working with Docker / containerised environments.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and documentation skills.

Fluent in English and comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
