Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (DeFi-focused) who will be responsible for performance optimization and integration of new DeFi protocols into our ecosystem. This role requires a deep understanding of Golang, DeFi architecture, and smart contracts.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Participate in the full application lifecycle, with a focus on coding and debugging
Troubleshoot and debug applications

Performance & Optimization

Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

Conduct code profiling and performance optimization

Security & Data Protection

Implement robust security practices and data protection solutions

Ensure backend systems meet high standards of reliability and safety

DeFi Protocol Integration

Integrate new DeFi protocols into backend architecture

Work closely with smart contracts and Web3 components to ensure smooth interactions

Support cross-functional teams in building scalable and secure features

Experience Required

Experience building services with Geth and Solidity, including working with large numerical values

Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments

Background in mathematics or related quantitative fields

Proficiency in understanding and analyzing DeFi primitives like Uniswap v2 pools

Skills

Proficient in Golang : design patterns, memory model, multithreading, goroutines, channels, profiling

Strong knowledge of Solidity and smart contract architecture

Deep understanding of DeFi protocols and token standards

Ability to read and analyze Solidity code effectively

Experience working in high-performance or financial systems

Nice to have : Familiarity with tools like The Graph, Tenderly, and Vyper

Mindset

Open to a hybrid schedule in the Dubai office (minimum 3 days per week on-site)
