Role purpose :
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our HR team in Madrid who wants to develop an HR career in an international organization. This position will play a crucial role supporting HR at Chubb Spain, specifically within the Iberian business (Spain & Portugal) and all regional roles based in Madrid (283 employees). They will act as a strategic advisor and collaborator between Human Resources and business leaders. They will drive digital transformation in HR, organizational effectiveness by supporting talent management, employee engagement, and change management, while fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations in a multicultural environment.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in Talent Attraction, onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, labor relations, HR analytics, compensation cycle, and management of HR projects and initiatives.
 - Collaborate with business leaders to identify talent needs and design attraction, development, and retention strategies tailored to the insurance sector.
 - Implement change management, organizational culture, and diversity & inclusion initiatives aligned with the company’s global values.
 - Analyze HR metrics (engagement, turnover, performance) and propose improvement actions specific to the Spanish market.
 - Manage performance evaluation processes, succession plans, and professional development, ensuring alignment with corporate policies.
 - Support the resolution of labor conflicts, management of Equality Plan, in compliance with Spanish labor regulations.
 - Ensure compliance with local labor legislation and global internal policies.
 - Enhance digitalization and automation projects for HR processes, promoting the adoption of digital tools (MyHR, Chubb HR Service Portal, Benefits Place, .
 - Be a reference for well-being, mental health, and workplace flexibility, adapting international best practices to the local context.
 
Qualifications
Degree in Business Administration, Law, Psychology, Labor Relations, or a related field.Master’s degree in human resources is desirable.Minimum of 4 years’ experience in HR generalist or business partner roles, preferably in the insurance or financial sector.Up-to-date knowledge of HR trends : digitalization, people analytics, diversity and inclusion, employee experience.Proficient in Spanish and in English is a must. Other languages are a plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).Knowledge of Spanish labor legislation and international best practices.Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and credibility with leaders and employees.Clear, persuasive, and empathetic communication, both written and verbal.Proficiency in interpreting HR data and metrics to inform decision-making.Capacity to address complex issues with practical and innovative solutions.Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate effectively.Skills to manage multiple HR projects and initiatives simultaneously.Handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Coaching skills to support and develop leaders and employees.Well organized person with strong attention to details.Strong customer focus and solutions oriented.Team worker spirit.
