Senior Software Engineer - Avionics and Flight System

Sener Aerospace and Defence is currently looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our Avionics and Flight System Division at our Tres Cantos work center (Madrid) or Cerdanyola del Vallès (Barcelona).

We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. What you will do :

• Definition of SW solutions : architectures, SW components, IFs, requirements…
• Preparation of SW specifications for SW components development.
• Understanding HW / FW platform and being able to define SW / HW, SW / FW Ifs.
• Break down the defined solution into affordable SW component and tasks, according to project context : schedule, profiles, platform…
• Implementation and testing of critical SW functions.
• Skilled on SW debugging.
• Be able to guide and coordinate small SW engineers team.
• Be able to lead make / buy trade offs.
• Participate in proposals preparation.
