Senior Data Scientist (LLMs) – Freelance (Pharma industry) We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join one of our clients' team ( pharmaceutical industry) a full-time freelance basis. This role is an opportunity to contribute to a client project applying advanced machine learning and Large Language Models (LLMs) in a highly impactful sector. We need someone able to provide immediate support and improvement on a Gen AI tech stack. Role Overview The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for : Developing, fine-tuning, and deploying LLM-based solutions Working hands-on with Python and ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Hugging Face Transformers Designing experiments and evaluation frameworks for generative AI systems Ensuring high-quality data processing and scalable pipelines Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders in the client’s team to deliver production-ready solutions Requirements Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist, with a focus on LLMs, NLP, and generative AI Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Transformers, LangChain, etc.) Hands-on experience with model development, fine-tuning, and evaluation Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end delivery Background in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector is a plus, but not mandatory Contract Details Location : Barcelona (remote work possible) Contract : Freelance, full-time until the end of the year, with potential extension Start : ASAP If you are an experienced Data Scientist with deep knowledge of LLMs and are available for a freelance role, we would be pleased to discuss this opportunity with you.
