Your Challenge Own the End-to-End Data Pipeline Lifecycle : You will design, build, and maintain robust and scalable ETL / ELT pipelines to process data from diverse sources, including third-party APIs, databases, message queues, and flat files.

Build for Scale and Reliability : Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and performance. You will be responsible for the monitoring, security, and operational excellence of our data integration systems.

Solve Complex Data Challenges : Implement sophisticated data transformations and business logic to turn raw data into actionable information that drives product features and critical business decisions.

Collaborate and Lead : Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver high-impact data solutions. Mentor junior engineers and champion best practices in data engineering and software development.

Drive Technical Excellence : Contribute to a high-quality codebase through thoughtful code reviews, comprehensive documentation, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will keep abreast of new technologies and trends to evolve our data stack.

Must-haves Experience : 5+ years in software engineering, with a demonstrated focus on data integration, ETL development, or backend systems.

ETL Expertise : Deep expertise in designing, implementing, and operating complex ETL / ELT pipelines.

Programming Proficiency : Strong coding skills in a modern language. Proficiency in TypeScript is required for this role.

Database Mastery : Strong command of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), including data modeling and query optimization.

Cloud & DevOps : Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (GCP preferred) and container orchestration using Kubernetes.

Problem Solving : A pragmatic and tenacious approach to solving complex technical problems, with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.

Nice-to-have Architectural Vision : Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.

Modern DevOps : Knowledge of CI / CD principles and experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks.

Observability : Familiarity with modern monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Data Orchestration : Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.

API Fluency : Deep understanding of RESTful API design and security standards (OAuth, JWT).

Domain Knowledge : Previous experience in the Energy, FinTech, or another data-intensive industry.
