Responsibilities Monitor and analyze institutional, political, and regulatory developments at international, national, and regional levels.
Draft internal reports and strategic notes on public affairs and policies related to the aerospace sector; gather, analyze, and interpret information from governmental sources, international organizations, and specialized media; provide guidance and recommendations to senior management.
Identify, evaluate, and manage public funding opportunities (subsidies, grants, etc.) at national and European levels; analyze suitability and impact; prepare documentation and coordinate project proposals.
Coordinate projects funded with public resources with internal departments; ensure deadlines, legal requirements, and technical objectives; liaise with funding institutions.
Map and manage relationships with institutional stakeholders, including public administrations, European bodies, and industry associations.
Support the definition and implementation of the company’s institutional positioning strategy; prepare messages, materials, and organize events or meetings with stakeholders.
Collaborate in the development of internal governance and compliance mechanisms related to institutional engagement.
Ensure alignment of institutional activities with corporate priorities and strategic initiatives; coordinate interdepartmental efforts and monitor progress.
Report to Government Affairs Excellence Associate Director.
Profile Education : Bachelor’s and / or master’s degree in political science, International Relations, Law, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering.
Experience : at least 5 years in similar roles in strategic consultancies, companies, public bodies, Spanish or European institutions.
Areas such as public affairs, government relations, project management, or compliance in industrial or technological sectors are highly valued; aerospace sector is a plus; familiarity with regulatory frameworks and funding processes.
Knowledge of the Spanish and European institutional ecosystem, as well as public financing mechanisms.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint; languages : good Spanish and English.
Soft Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to adapt in changing environments, manage complex networks, work in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams, and analyze and summarize strategic information to turn policy changes into concrete actions.
Methodical and systematic approach; strong teamwork; strategic thinking and institutional awareness.
Training You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team for the company, and you will be able to learn and have first-hand knowledge about the company processes and their interactions.
