What challenge will you be taking on? We are looking for an algorithms SW engineer to contribute to the development of precise orbit determination algorithms in C++ in the Galileo Second Generation System Testbed (G2STB) project.

The G2STB is a state-of-the-art system in charge of developing the G2 system capabilities that will contribute to the future of European satellite-based positioning services . The G2STB is not only an advanced and modern system in terms of the new GNSS capabilities being developed, but also for being the first operational Galileo facility, including new cutting-edge technologies that will be translated into more operability, robustness and reliability. The system is developed by a consortium of European companies led by GMV, in which each of them is developing a part of the system.

The candidate will join a dynamic team, using the SAFE methodology, a leading agile methodology in the business world.

Define and design the algorithms for the computation of precise orbit determination of Galileo and LEO satellites

Implement the algorithms in C++

Develop monitoring tools

Integrate the algorithms within the G2STB platform, a private cloud system

Validate the performance of the algorithms

Participate in meetings with the customer
