Easy Languages GmbH is a media production company based in Berlin, dedicated to creating video and podcast content for language learners. Our mission is to support language learning through authentic and engaging media. With 15 YouTube channels and 10 podcasts, we reach millions of enthusiastic language learners worldwide and have grown dynamically since our company was founded.

We’re now looking for a Host to join our team! In this role, you will be one of the faces of our video content on YouTube, engage with people in different environments (in person and online) and help us bring our language-learning videos to life. This position is available starting in November 2025, with the option to work 20–30 hours per week.

We particularly welcome candidates from the Latin American community living long-term in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

Overview

  • Position : Host for Spanish learning content and community management
  • Location : Barcelona, Spain (relocation possible) or Mexico City start option
  • Start : November 2025; hours : 20–30 per week

Responsibilities

  • Host engaging YouTube videos and podcast episodes, as well as online & in-person events, such as Zoom conversation sessions, community meetups and our yearly winter school
  • Interview native speakers in the streets of Barcelona and capture authentic conversations
  • Brainstorm ideas, plan and produce content that fits Easy Spanish brand and purpose, together with the Easy Spanish team
  • Collaborate with the team to develop fresh and creative ways to connect with our audience
  • Support our community by answering questions on Discord, email or YouTube’s comment section
  • Qualifications

  • Outgoing, confident, and comfortable engaging with strangers on the street for interview episodes
  • Empathetic, able to put themselves in students’ shoes and help others
  • Natural curiosity about cultures and languages
  • On-camera comfort with high energy and engaging presence
  • Experience learning foreign languages; background in Spanish teaching is a plus
  • Native-level proficiency in Spanish and at least conversational English
  • Currently living long-term in Barcelona, Spain, or willing to relocate (Mexico City option available)
  • Legally authorized to work in Spain and able to travel; visa support may be possible in exceptional cases
