A leading company in the packaging industry, committed to delivering innovative and high-quality packaging solutions globally, is currently seeking a :

Sales & Business Development Manager

To join their team and drive the continuous growth and expansion of the business in Spain, reporting directly to the Business Head. With a strong global presence, the company delivers cutting-edge packaging solutions to clients across diverse industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
  • Establish and manage an efficient sales and distribution strategy to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Formulate pricing policies that ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Oversee receivable management and maintain an efficient credit policy.
  • Ensure accuracy in dispatches through effective quality assurance, logistics, and warehouse management.
  • Lead new product development and marketing strategies aligned with business and market needs.
  • Provide proactive technical support to customers and address complaints to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a positive company image through branding and relationship-building with customers.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor assessments to highlight the strengths of the company’s products.
  • Achieve strategic objectives on time and ensure successful export strategy implementation.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and vendors to meet market needs.
  • Lead and mentor sales and marketing teams, driving performance and continuous improvement.
  • Implement CRM systems and sales forecasting tools to improve efficiency and tracking.
  • Report on achievements against budget forecasts and sales objectives.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6-12 years of experience in the packaging industry or related sectors.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing strategy execution.
  • Strong leadership, budget management, and customer relationship skills.
  • Excellent strategic planning, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced, result-driven environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication, networking, and team leadership skills.
