Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate all production plant operations, ensuring industrial processes are executed efficiently, productively, and in compliance with safety standards.
Monitor performance, output, and quality of products or services; implement changes or enhancements as needed.
Manage and coordinate training, evaluate staff, and address issues or disputes as they arise.
Implement and uphold internal control and safety standards.
Set and execute production plans, schedules, and budgets; ensure follow-up of cost control and resource allocation.
Collaborate with other plants and the European Supply Chain.
Analyze and optimize stock of raw materials, packaging, equipment, and energy based on sales forecasting and customer orders; ensure efficient material flow.
Set Plant KPIs, review and report progress in alignment with other industrial sites of the company.
Identify and solve problems; implement corrective or preventive actions in collaboration with other departments.
Research innovative technologies for the plant and analyse production methods to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
Supervise the warehouse to ensure on-time deliveries of orders.
Lead, motivate, and manage employees; participate in recruitment, task distribution, skills assessment, training plan proposals, annual performance evaluations, and job development.
Ensure the team complies with environmental rules and instructions; monitor environmental indicators and participate in audits; contribute proposals for continuous environmental improvement.
Requirements
Industrial Engineer.
Experience in a comparable position of minimum 5 years in an international company in Food Industry or FMCG.
Experience in new facilities, buildings, extension of capacity.
Technical and operational knowledge.
Extensive knowledge of businesses (MBA).
Financial skills and advanced negotiation skills.
Good communication, leadership, and team-player abilities.
Analytical and critical thinking; problem-solving attitude.
Strong sense of direction and talent for management; resilient, tenacious, energetic.
Spanish and English required; French knowledge is a plus.
SAP advanced user.
