Job Title : Senior Networking Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced networking professional to join our team. As a senior network engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and supporting our organization's complex network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Network Design and Implementation : Design and implement LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN networks to meet the needs of our organization.

Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity, latency, and security issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance.

Security Measures : Implement network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and prevention systems, to protect against cyber threats.

Equipment Management : Manage routers, switches, load balancers, and other networking equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.

Communication Systems : Support voice, video, and data communication systems to ensure seamless communication between teams and departments.

Maintenance and Upgrades : Conduct regular system upgrades, patches, and preventive maintenance to ensure our network remains secure and up-to-date.

Documentation and Collaboration : Maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures, and collaborate with IT teams and vendors to support business operations and new initiatives.

Troubleshooting and Support : Provide technical support for network-related incidents and service requests to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity.

Compliance : Ensure compliance with organizational policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards to maintain the trust and confidence of our stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

At least 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of TCP / IP, routing, switching, subnetting, and VLANs.

Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).

Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Nagios, etc.).

Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

Understanding of VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, and VoIP technologies.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Relevant certifications preferred (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible, etc.) for network operations.

Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices.

Ability to manage large-scale network projects and upgrades.
