Regional Sales Director – Spain & Portugal (Reproductive Genetics / IVF)

We are seeking a Regional Sales Director with a strong background in reproductive genetics , assisted reproduction (IVF) , or clinical diagnostics , to lead our commercial strategy across Spain and Portugal . This leadership role is critical in accelerating the adoption of cutting-edge genetic technologies within fertility clinics and laboratories through the development of strategic relationships with key industry stakeholders.

Commercial Strategy & Execution

  • Design and implement tailored sales strategies for the Iberian assisted reproduction market.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced genetic solutions (e.G., PGT, genetic screening, carrier testing) across fertility clinics, hospitals, and laboratories.
  • Identify business opportunities and niche markets, collaborating closely with the marketing team to effectively position our product portfolio.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of clinical sales specialists with deep IVF sector expertise.
  • Set ambitious yet realistic sales targets for the team and ensure consistent performance tracking.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, commercial excellence, and customer-centricity.

    • Strategic Client Engagement

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with medical directors, embryologists, geneticists, and procurement leaders in fertility clinics.
  • Lead complex negotiations, including framework agreements and tenders.
  • Ensure an outstanding client experience from initial engagement through to service implementation.

    • Market Intelligence

  • Monitor scientific, regulatory, and technological trends within reproductive genetics.
  • Analyze competitor activities and gather key market insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Actively participate in industry congresses, specialized trade shows, and professional networks.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with medical marketing, operations, regulatory affairs, and technical support teams.
