For our office in Sevilla, we are looking for an : Port Operations Officer (f / m / d) in Spain and reporting to the Port Operations Supervisor.

Mission :

Develop and lead group operations in agencies; Ensure the good running of vessels’ calls, being the interface between lines, vessels, port and terminal operators and customer service.

Functions :

• Prepare and coordinate the physical call of ships in charge of Vessel Ops & Cargo Ops desk and centralized the information related to the call in coordination with the Line, Shipmanager, Port Agents, terminals and Local Authorities
• Ensure smooth work of the husbandry agent related to required port call documents and applicable local regulations, specific requests related to the ship, to the crew and to the cargo ( customs inspections ), and coordination with bunkering suppliers. Also ensure PRS is well known and filled by the Port Agents
• Ensure smooth work of the Transhipment team in GBS, under our scope.
• Responsible of follow up vessel and cargo operations as well as being the entry point of all incidents and issues occurred to ship and her operations before, during and after the call.
• Use of MACS3 to prepare discharge, loading and weight list to provide all parties (planner, terminals) the files needed to work the vessels and for the Disch and Load confirmations.
• Send an accurate SDC / SLC to avoid further discrepancies in the supplier invoices
• Declare Dangerous Goods to the Port Authorities and request authorizations to Spanish Authorities for some specifics cargo as Explosives, Radioactive, munitions.. ).
• Carry out a 24 hours / 7 days basis follow-up for the vessel and the handling operations
• Check invoices discrepances related to Terminals and others providers, and solve them in a short time.
