Power Electronics Engineer

My client is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer, who will develop and optimise high-voltage converters for advanced electric propulsion systems.

This is an on-site role, based in Madrid, Spain.

Responsibilities :

Design and optimise switched-mode power supplies and high-voltage circuits.

Simulate, analyse, and improve thermal and EMC performance. Test and qualify components

Design multilayer PCBs.

Testing and building prototypes

Produce technical reports and cross functionally work across teams

Must Haves :

5+ years’ experience in power electronics design.

Master’s degree in Power Electronics or a related field.

Expertise in SMPS and high-voltage design

Proficiency with Altium Designer and coding languages eg. Matlab

PCB design experience - up to 10 layer
