We provide company laptops and other equipment. Remote workers are invited to our annual company trip and other team events. This position can be located in Marbella or remote within the EU, with visa sponsorship not available outside the EU.
What are we looking for now?
An experienced DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer who is at the forefront of technology and can work collaboratively within a large team while also being able to lead on their own. We welcome fresh ideas and a continually evolving product and stack. Our platform uses AWS managed with Terraform, Kubernetes for microservices, Cassandra, Elasticsearch / OpenSearch, Druid for data storage, Kafka, Hazelcast, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK for monitoring and logs, all running on Linux. The DevOps team also manages networking components such as subnets, security groups, and load balancers. The CI pipeline uses Github Actions and ArgoCD for CD.
What You'll do
- Build and operate the infrastructure upon which all services run.
- Collaborate with Product Engineering teams to help them build, deploy, and run high-quality, reliable, and performant software.
- Participate in the identification and evaluation of new technologies and platform services.
- Be part of the on-call rotation for urgent production incidents.
- Continuously expand your knowledge and contribute to our collective learning.
What You'll bring
Strong experience and knowledge of Linux (CentOS, Ubuntu).Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Pulumi), load balancing, and advanced networking.Experience with Cassandra, Elasticsearch or OpenSearch, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, Git, and Docker containers. Not all are mandatory, but they score highly.Experience with Git and CI / CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI or Github Actions preferred).Good knowledge of TCP / IP, DNS, SSL, high-availability and distributed systems, monitoring and alerting, and security best practices.Scripting and coding preferably in Bash and Python; open to other suggestions.Team player, well organized, and willing to help.Proficiency in professional-level English communication, both written and verbal.What we would like to see
