About the role

A global SME-sized Asset Management firm seeks a skilled Data Engineer to support and modernise data platforms and analytics capabilities. The role will span three critical focus areas : ETL monitoring and enhancement, business intelligence / reporting, and the automation of key data activities using modern Azure based tools.

Responsibilities

• Support, manage, and develop ETL pipelines to ingest data into a datalake / warehouse.
• Perform issue diagnosis and resolution for data-related anomalies (including loganalysis and error tracing).
• Deliver and migrate BI / MI reports using Power BI and in-house data sources.
• Collaborate with business users to determine reporting needs and design ad-hoc extracts.
• Automate and modernise data management and ETL / reporting processes.
• Transition manual workflows to automated, robust pipelines.
