Security Engineer
Fynity is proud to be partnering with one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS scale-ups as they continue to strengthen their internal security capabilities.
They’re looking for a talented and proactive Offensive Security Engineer to join a tight-knit Security team of five, working at the heart of the business to proactively uncover vulnerabilities, strengthen defences, and shape the company’s security strategy.
What you’ll do
Perform proactive penetration testing across apps and systems.
Reproduce and validate bug bounty submissions and external vulnerability reports.
Partner with engineers to remediate vulnerabilities and enhance secure coding practices.
Contribute to the development of security tools, automations, and infrastructure.
Stay ahead of evolving attack techniques and emerging threats.
What you’ll bring
Strong experience in Penetration Testing; strong web app testing is a must.
Solid knowledge of web, network, OS, and database fundamentals.
Understanding of CVSS , security testing methodologies, and tooling.
Strong scripting / programming (Python, Bash, etc.).
Curious mindset and a love for ethical hacking.
Certifications such as BSCP or eWPTX are highly valued (but not essential).
Experience with Ruby / Ruby on Rails is a bonus
Fluent English language required.
