Opportunity We are looking for a hands-on and proactive People Manager to build and shape our HR function from the ground up. As our first dedicated People hire, you will play a pivotal role in setting up the processes, tools, and culture that enable our team to thrive.
In the immediate term, you will focus on strengthening recruitment, onboarding, and core HR routines. Over time, this role may evolve to cover the full people spectrum, from performance management and learning & development to engagement, culture, and compliance.
This is a permanent role, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.
Responsibilities HR Foundations & Processes
Set up, document, and run key HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management
Ensure HR compliance across contracts, policies, and local labor requirements
Implement and manage core HR systems, tools, and documentation
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Own end-to-end recruitment : role briefs, sourcing, interviewing, and coordination with hiring managers
Deliver a smooth, engaging onboarding experience for new joiners
Build a pipeline of talent aligned with our growth plans
People Operations & Support
Act as the first point of contact for HR-related questions from the team
Manage employee records, payroll coordination, and benefits administration
Track and report key HR metrics to leadership
Culture & Engagement
Help shape and embed our company values into everyday practices
Support leadership in initiatives that strengthen engagement, well-being, and retention
Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace
Future Development
Over time, scope may be expanded into performance management, learning & development, career paths, and leadership support
Partner with the leadership team to align people strategy with business priorities
What we’re looking for 4+ years of experience in HR / People roles, ideally in a fast-growing, international environment
Strong understanding of HR fundamentals (recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance)
Hands-on and structured, with the ability to balance operational tasks and strategic thinking
Comfortable working independently as the sole HR person while potentially building toward a larger function in the future
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
