Vogue College of Fashion Spain launched its first Vogue master’s in partnership with the Carlos III University of Madrid 20 years ago. Vogue College of Fashion is one of the main players in fashion education in Spanish, for Spain and Latin America.

The Role :

Based in Madrid, the Marketing Manager is tasked with working closely with the Admissions and Marketing Director of Vogue College of Fashion Spain and the Global Head of Marketing Operations to take responsibility for a variety of marketing activities. The role will focus primarily on Vogue College of Fashion Spain, and service programs primarily in Madrid, but also in global locations to come.

The successful candidate will establish a marketing strategy, incorporating the best channels and tools necessary to attain the College’s objectives. In addition, they will monitor results, both for in person and online courses, to optimize the recruitment of students in both national and international markets (primarily Latin America).

Knowledge of the Latin American market and its opportunities for growth will be highly valued. This work will be developed in collaboration with the Marketing, IT, and Creative teams of the parent company, BrandEd.

Person Specification :

The role will take ownership of ongoing initiatives such as email and content marketing, manage a digital marketing agency, and be able to undertake collaborative opportunities with partners. Events crucial to student recruitment will also be a focus for this role.

This position will sit within the marketing function of Global Enrollment and Marketing (GEM), a department that serves all schools and BrandEd interests. As a group and a business function, the marketing team focuses on full-funnel acquisition leveraging digital marketing, paid promotions, marketing communications, and CRM to build

and convert the customer pipeline.

Alongside other areas of GEM, the Marketing Operations team are entrepreneurial, data-driven, business-minded, and an agent for change internally and in the landscape of traditional education. Marketing Manager should share these core traits.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on data and reporting, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage external marketing agencies, freelancers, and partners.
  • Design and monitor the email marketing strategy.
  • Develop communications plans that map to organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to marketing reports and analysis, from market research to internal

assessment of KPIs and activities.

  • Develop creative and engaging copy for communication assets across programs, ensuring alignment with messaging goals and audience needs.
  • Plan and update content for the website and social media channels, ensuring consistency with overall communication strategy.
  • Monitor media references to Vogue College of Fashion Spain, with the aim of contributing to the reinforcement of the brand image.
  • Create clear and detailed briefs for design requests, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and brand guidelines.
  • Identify and engage alumni for the development of editorial content, ensuring stories align with brand voice and content strategy.
  • Manage the marketing budget, including promotion planning, invoice tracking, and coordination with external vendors.
  • Oversee measurement parameters for all campaigns, ensuring accurate tracking, analysis, and optimization of performance metrics.
  • Support the planning and execution of brand and recruitment events.

    Role requirements

    Knowledge of marketing techniques for attracting students and experience in the private education sector is desirable, as is experience in the Latin American market. Achievements in recruitment and development, in this or another sector, will also be valued.

    The Marketing Manager will be a strong analytical thinker, using data to make informed decisions and leverage systems and technology to empower their work. Other core traits the incumbent will possess are an enthusiasm for collaborating with others, the ability to multi-task and be agile, and to produce excellent work creatively and quickly.

  • The role is based in Madrid, the successful candidate will need to be present in
  • the office regularly, and to work flexible hours with colleagues based in New

    York and London.

  • Relevant proven experience in paid media, specialized in planning and
  • managing payment methods, strategy, and digital tools

  • Excellent command of the English language
  • IT literate including CMS and CRM, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics.
  • Understanding content marketing tactics, including search engine optimization.
  • Able to travel nationally and internationally (some overseas travel may be required).
