Senior Internal Audit Consultant

The opportunity

As part of our Consulting Enterprise Risk Internal Audit team, you will participate in client engagements related to Internal Audit, Process Compliance and Reviews, SOX 404 Reviews, Development of Standard Operating Procedures manuals & Enterprise Risk Management.

As a member of our team in the EY GDS Spain office in Malaga, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches. You'll support clients in choosing the most suitable business solution and take part in digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities

Develop strong working relationships with the clients.

Constantly monitor project progress, manage risk, and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

Demonstrate application and solution-based approach to problem solving while executing client engagements and documenting working papers.

Identify process gaps and accordingly provide recommendations in areas requiring improvement based on the client's business process and industry practice.

Mentor and coach junior team members, enabling them to meet their performance goals and successfully grow their careers.

Ensure compliance with risk management strategies, plans and activities of the firm.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Economics, or similar

3-6 years of work experience in areas such as Internal Audit, Analytics in Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Compliance, SOX, ERM, TPRM, ESG Reporting, IT General controls

Exceptional command of spoken and written English (C1)

Advanced command of spoken and written Italian and / or German and / or French is required

High level of MS-Office skills, including proficiency in PowerPoint, data analysis & validation
