System Engineer

Overview Are you a skilled System Engineer looking for your next challenge in a stable, international environment? We’re looking for a System Engineer to join a growing IT team based in Barcelona, supporting infrastructure and systems across multiple European locations. This role plays a key part in optimizing the shared services system landscape, contributing to stability, scalability, and innovation.

Responsibilities Administer and monitor IT systems and infrastructure across locations.

Configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and tools .

Ensure high availability and performance of enterprise systems.

Participate in automation, integration, and cloud migration initiatives .

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently and independently.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on global IT projects and upgrades.

What We’re Looking For 3–5 years’ experience in IT system administration or engineering.

Proficiency in Windows Server environments , VMware , Active Directory , and M365 services .

Solid knowledge of backup systems, storage, IT security , and network troubleshooting .

Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) and automation tools (PowerShell, Bash) is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills , structured approach, and team mindset.

Fluent English required; other European languages are a plus.
