About The Team
To expand our legal team in Barcelona , we are currently recruiting a Juriste / Legal Advisor Junior .
You will be reporting to our French Juriste also based in Barcelona and working closely with our EMEA / APAC Legal team based across Europe with the Head Office in Newcastle (UK).
What you will do
You will work as part of our Legal Team and liaising with internal clients (i.e. the sales staff and managers), negotiating mainly with French based clients but also working from time to time with Spanish, UK, and other European & APAC clients / candidates when required by the business, as well as recovering debt from our clients.
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Negotiate and draft a diverse range of commercial agreements including negotiating IT / Recruitment terms of business with clients based on standard TRG agreement documents and also on Client’s own paperwork as required.
- Draft others documents for company use (NDAs, HR and Company documents).
- Maintain a close working relationship within legal and contract administration team, with sales and consulting service managers in relation to client negotiations.
- Providing advice on international compliance, legal issues and risks, approval processes and company policy.
- Assist on the corporate governance for our French entity
- Follow up litigations together with internal / external counsel and draft letters to chase unpaid invoices / addressing breaches of terms.
- Provide advice to management and staff on the company’s legal position and response to issues.
- Translation of documents as required within the business.
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
What we are looking for
University degree in law – Master / LL.M or equivalent;You have at least a first experience (1 year) in a Legal department / Law firm. Experience in IT / IP contract or Recruitment is highly appreciated.Excellent communication and drafting skills in French and English language, Spanish (not mandatory but highly appreciated).Clear written and verbal communication skills at all levels are essential.Ability to ensure confidentiality at all times.Assertive personality with good analytical and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail.Flexible and open to constant challenge and change within a fast paced environmentConfident using Microsoft Word and Excel.Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.What we have to offer :
