Hexcel is currently seeking a Project Engineer II for our Parla location (Spain).

The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following obligations :

• Under direction of Project Manager, manage capital projects (up to $5M), which would include, but not be limited to, scoping and estimating the projects, authoring capital expenditure requests for the same, leading multi-functional project teams, providing cost and schedule control, identifying required resources, and coordinating between all affected parties.
• Work with site personnel to execute projects efficiently and effectively with minimal impact to existing operations.
• Coordinate with the local technical and operational teams to ensure key project and site objectives are met.
• Monitor project progress and performance; communicate project status with senior employees and project stakeholders; develop and deliver formal presentations to management as necessary.
• Develop proposals or RFQ’s for the purposes of scoping or estimating capital investments; work with vendors and / or contractors to optimize system performance.
