Roc360 Spain, a wholly owned subsidiary of Roc360, is recruiting additional resources for our team in Madrid. Our existing Spanish team supports the US business through a number of business areas including loan underwriting, closing, appraisal management, technology, finance and loan servicing.
Description
- Roc360 originates thousands of lending opportunities in the US each month through a combination of third-party brokers and an internal sales team
- All lending opportunities are individually assessed by an internal loan underwriting department. This team completes a detailed credit assessment of each lending opportunity in line with Roc360’s lending criteria and recommends loans to credit committee for approval
- Loan sizes vary from $100k to $30mm secured by US single family property, multi family, mixed use and property portfolio (5+ units)
- The real estate analysts work with our loan underwriting team completing reviews of new lending opportunities.
The Role
Assist with the underwriting of fix & flip and rental loansAnalyse borrower repayment capacity and property-level historical operating statements as well as third-party reports including real estate appraisals, engineering, environmental and zoning reportsAssist in the preparation and presentation of credit reports to Credit CommitteeAudit and verify the accuracy of underwriting due diligence documentationCoordinate with internal support staff in appraisals, closing, trades etcEngage with the loan origination team and third parties to provide feedback on loan submissionsStay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulatory guidelines and industry best practicesAssist in other ad hoc tasksProfile
Recent undergraduate or Masters degree with a strong academic track record2+ years work experienceFluency in English with the ability to work through EnglishStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interest in the real estate sector and knowledge / interest in broader economic trendsExcellent analytical skillsFinancial modelling, projection and stress testing skillsDedicated problem solver with a can-do attitudeStrong work ethicGreat teammateWhat do we offer?
