Job Title : FPGA DesignerLocation : Madrid, SpainType : PermanentAbout the Role : We are seeking an FPGA Designer to develop and implement high-performance digital logic solutions for mission-critical systems in defence, aerospace, and security applications. You will work closely with hardware, software, and systems teams to design, verify, and optimise FPGA architectures that meet stringent reliability, safety, and performance standards.Key Responsibilities : Design, simulate, and implement FPGA-based solutions using VHDL / Verilog.Integrate FPGA designs into complex embedded systems.Perform functional verification, timing closure, and hardware debugging.Optimise designs for power, area, and performance within safety-critical environments.Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with aerospace and defence standards.Requirements : Proven experience in FPGA design (Xilinx / Intel platforms).Strong knowledge of VHDL / Verilog, simulation tools, and hardware validation.Experience with high-speed interfaces (e.g., PCIe, Ethernet, DDR).Familiarity with aerospace / defence standards and secure design practices.Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.If this sounds of interest, please apply here or reach out to daniel@microtech-global.com
