Introduction to the Team

Private Label Solutions (PLS) is the B2B arm of Expedia Group. We bring Expedia Group’s innovative technology and distribution solutions to partners across the world. These businesses include global financial institutions, corporate managed travel, offline travel agents, global travel suppliers (like major airlines) and many more.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Commercial Finance team within PLS. This is a key role, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager in the Commercial Finance - Global Commercial Support team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Senior Finance Manager in developing and deploying the commercial model strategy for taking new products and features to market. Core responsibilities include gathering inputs for data-based assumptions, financial modelling, competitive analysis, business case development and maintenance, pipeline tracking, forecasting, liaising with Sales to execute commercial deals, and executive reporting.

In This Role, You Will

• Be responsible for assisting Product Finance with initial business case development and subsequent updates for new products and features
• Gather necessary inputs and assumptions for financial modelling of new initiatives opportunity sizing and commercial models
• Build financial models to assess various commercial options and provide insights as to pros, cons, risks, and opportunities of each to be considered by leadership; communicate the approved commercial model to impacted stakeholders
• Liaise with Product, Tech, Program Management, Sales, Divisional Commercial Finance, FP&A, and FinOps to execute on the strategy and deployment of new products and features
• Maintain and update pipeline tracking for new product and feature opportunities
• Calculate and track any risks and opportunities related to the status of taking new products and features to market
• Forecast the financial expectations of the new products and features in line with leadership guidance
• Prepare executive reporting on status updates for all new products and features
• Assist with long-range planning to size potential opportunities for the next 3-5 years
