Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished culinary professional to fill a key position in our Madrid kitchen.

  • This individual will play a pivotal role in the success of our culinary team, working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

General Expectations

  • Stay informed about all company policies, procedures, and promotions.
  • Identify and report any necessary kitchen maintenance issues to the Head chef or Restaurant manager.
  • Attend daily briefings and other scheduled meetings.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with all employees to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Daily Operations

  • Prepare high-quality food items in the designated kitchen area.
  • Set up your station with the necessary utensils and equipment.
  • Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and storage specifications.
  • Acknowledge orders and prepare them according to specifications.
  • Serve food in the proper portion size and at the proper temperature.
  • Procurement and Inventory Management

  • Assist in inventory control and requisition orders as needed.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Commitment to ethics and confidentiality.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly motivated and self-starting individual.
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Work Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Line cook or 2 years in the F&B industry, preferably in a Lebanese / Oriental restaurant.
  • Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred, or accumulated years of experience.
