Event Planning Expert

We are seeking an experienced event planning expert to execute all in-person events and provide subject matter expertise on modern marketing tools and services within the local team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan in-person events, including conducting dry runs, identifying potential issues, and escalating these for support as needed.
• Provide support on various event types in line with corporate guidelines.
• Consult and advise stakeholders on scenarios which might require additional reviews and approvals.
• Act as Project Manager with full responsibility for event success.
• Coordinate all parties involved in an event, including VML and Microsoft stakeholders as well as third parties.
• Manage event participants' agendas.
• Manage event assets, such as videos and presentations.
• Execute and manage in-person events from start to finish, adhering to existing guidelines and procedures.
• Attend on-site events to manage the check-ins, speakers, and third-party coordination.
• Train marketers on the utility of event platforms and educate local stakeholders on event services and tool capabilities.
• Provide reporting, including specific reviews and budgeting / spending information to stakeholders.
• Gather insights and analyze marketing activities to identify patterns, best practices and efficiencies.
• Educate internal and external stakeholders on latest and relevant updates.
• Advise stakeholders on tools used for event planning and execution.
• Share best practices and success stories while fostering knowledge sharing and continuous service improvement.
