Your role
As a Data Operations Intern, you'll join our purchasing team to transform data into actionable insights. You will support the creation and maintenance of data models and dashboards to monitor supplier performance, identify supply chain trends, and pinpoint optimization opportunities. Your work will be crucial in helping the purchasing team make data-driven decisions to improve operational efficiency and cost control.
Your Journey
Analyze data from suppliers to evaluate their performance, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements.
Develop and maintain dashboards in business intelligence tools to visualize key KPIs such as on-time delivery, order accuracy, and supplier compliance.
Use purchasing data to identify spending patterns, forecast inventory demand, and optimize stock levels.
Extract and process data from various sources to conduct cost analyses, market research, and support supplier negotiation strategies.
Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the procurement system by identifying and resolving inconsistencies.
Collaborate with the team to generate analytical reports that inform strategic decision-making.
The internship offers a part-time or full-time schedule, depending on availability.
What do you bring to your trip
Strong proficiency in advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, complex formulas like VLOOKUP, INDEX / MATCH).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
Basic knowledge of SQL is a strong plus.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
A highly analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail and the ability to solve complex problems.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple data-driven tasks and projects.
Interest in supply chain analysis, inventory management, and procurement processes.
