Cosmetic Product Safety Specialist

Job Title :

A Product Safety Expert is required to ensure the safety of cosmetic products and their ingredients. This role requires a toxicologist with expertise in non-testing approaches and computational tools to support novel ingredients' safety assessment.

About the Role :

This position involves managing third-party manufacturing projects, reviewing documentation, and providing expert advice on product safety. The successful candidate will contribute to research and development efforts related to new methodologies for cosmetic toxicology.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage TPM projects and review documentation to support product launch.
• Apply non-testing approaches aided by computational tools to support novel ingredients' safety assessment.
• Utilize read-across methods to waive safety testing when applicable.
• Monitor safety testing spending and recommend cost savings as appropriate.
• Provide training and coaching to junior personnel on safety functions.
