This role provides network operational focus for the customer around service KPI’s and other specific targets or goals mutually determined by PSA BDP and the customer. Additionally, this role will be accountable for achieving the budgeted operating profit for the customer and delivering cost savings to cover the overhead expenses of this position.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide support to the operations to ensure compliance with all SOPs and processes specific to the customer and ensure yearly target achievement.
  • Organize Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Audit accepted standards and procedures within the network specific to the customer.
  • Manage, on behalf of the commercial owner, the most complex Service Parts Logistics solutions for the customer on a day-to-day basis to ensure that performance targets are met.
  • Handle day-to-day operational and service-related interactions, including scheduled on-site meetings and conference calls, issue escalation and resolution, overall cross-functional solution coordination, and provide consultative advisory services.
  • Implement the key customer account plan for the year.
  • Provide continuous improvement suggestions by analyzing existing solutions and implementing service enhancements on an ongoing basis.
  • Report cargo movements to principals daily.
  • Manage cargo bookings with shipping lines, conclude contractual rates with principals, trucking companies, etc.
  • Possess over 5 years of detailed experience in logistics, forwarding operations, regulations, and documentation.
  • Preferably hold a professional degree from a licensed educational institution specialized in logistics and forwarding.
  • Be computer literate with Microsoft Office applications and / or other market-leading software.
  • Have experience in account management, control tower operations, project management, supply chain management, and / or experience within a chemical, life sciences, consumer products, or retail company.
  • Experience working within a matrixed environment.
