Operational Support Systems Engineer Role Job Description :
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational support systems, ensuring their reliability and performance throughout the development, construction, and operational phases of offshore wind projects.
This role involves managing various systems such as marine communications, vessel tracking, metocean measurements, general-purpose connectivity, and CCTV, with a focus on industrial, offshore wind, or marine environments.
Lead the specification, design, implementation, and integration of operational support systems.
Identify project stakeholders and ensure that the operational support systems comply with third-party requirements.
Support the commissioning of operational support systems to ensure correct operation and integration into the company's fleet-wide platform and tools.
Collaborate with the Operational Infrastructure and Performance team in developing and maintaining company standards for the integration of new assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
A degree in a relevant engineering discipline is required, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with similar systems. Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, industrial hardware, operational technology requirements, and cloud computing is essential.
Key Responsibilities :
