Management Accountant
WiseEnergy is a trusted and established solar asset manager, offering all the services clients require to manage and optimise large-scale solar plants, from development and construction through to long-term operational asset management.
Key Responsibilities
Take full ownership of the onboarding checklist, ensuring all information is accurately verified against the virtual data room.
Contribute to the preparation and delivery of the Onboarding Report for the Client.Complete KYC documentation and manage all required administrative and finance‑related applications.Collaborate with the Finance Transformation Team to integrate financial data into NetSuite and other finance systems / tools.Partner with the Senior Management Accountant to establish month‑end schedules and standard reporting templates.Prepare and record acquisition accounting journals in line with accounting standards.ReportingSupport the Assistant Accountant in reviewing accounting for SPVs, ensuring consistency and quality across entities.
Prepare SPV management accounts (monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc) and maintain high standards of accuracy.Review reporting outputs and supporting schedules, collaborating with the Senior Management Accountant to improve frameworks and templates.Manage internal and external financial deliverables for both the Group and lenders / investors, ensuring timely submission of reports.Oversee lender deliverables related to audited financial statements and support annual and interim audit processes.Act as key liaison with external auditors, coordinating deliverables, resolving audit queries, and addressing accounting issues.Prepare and review statutory financial statements for HoldCos and SPVs.Prepare the annual operating budget and manage quarterly reforecasts.Cash ManagementManage the invoice review and approval process in Yooz, and oversee payment workflows for SPVs and HoldCos.
Prepare and review monthly cash flow forecasting.Ensure strong understanding of cash flow management, including forecasting, liquidity monitoring, and variance analysis.Prepare and interpret cash flow statements and support decision‑making through accurate cash projections.Work alongside the Debt Management Team to calculate and verify distributions.Systems and ProcessesImplement and maintain finance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support the implementation of systems and processes (control processes).Ensure all documentation is stored in an orderly format in the common share drive.TaxWork alongside the Senior Management Accountant to manage all local tax compliance matters by supporting the appointed tax advisors, ensuring filings and payments are made before due dates.
Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with other Wise delivery functions – Technical, Commercial, Debt Management and Client Management.
Ad‑hocHandle dynamic, ad‑hoc tasks as part of the team's agility to provide the best service to our range of clients.

Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.Strong knowledge of management accounting, financial reporting, and month‑end close processes, including double‑entry bookkeeping and core accounting principles.Demonstrated expertise in budgeting and forecasting, including preparation of budgets and variance analysis.5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, ideally within an international or multi‑entity environment.Intermediate‑level Excel skills.Knowledge of NetSuite (advantageous).Passion for process improvement and operational efficiency.Renewable energy experience (advantageous).Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.Experience overseeing or collaborating with third‑party service providers such as local accountants, auditors and tax advisors.Strong presentation and conflict resolution skills, resilient and articulate.Fluent in Spanish with advanced business‑level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.What We Offer
