At K-LAGAN, we are seeking a mechanical product engineer for a Tier 1 automotive client located in the province of Barcelona!

Are you passionate about engineering and innovation? Join our team as a Product Engineer (PE) and play a key role in the design, development, and industrialization of cutting-edge mechanical products in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the technical feasibility of the product during offer and development phases, in alignment with internal methodologies.
• Apply standardized solutions and Lessons Learned across all product development processes.
• Conduct design reviews under the guidance of the Design Master.
• Ensure timely delivery of prototypes and developments according to customer / FDS milestones.
• Participate in product and process FMEAs.
• Analyze test report results and define countermeasures with the Quality Design Engineer.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams for effective product industrialization.
• Manage product modifications efficiently throughout development.
• Enhance product performance, quality, and cost through competitor benchmarking and technical innovation.
• Work closely with Purchasing and suppliers to optimize components for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
• Develop and ensure high-quality CAD (3D & 2D) designs.
• Propose technical Lessons Learned during the industrialization phase.
• Liaise directly with client engineering teams for successful product development.

Requirements

Note : Significant relevant experience may offset formal education requirements.
