Join Us : Universally Speaking (US) supports indie and AAA games to be released in top condition. This is an onsite role in Madrid; your presence in the office is required.
What will you do at work?
Play and test the games. Be relentless in testing and a perfectionist in identifying linguistic bugs. Communicate clearly in English and report issues using a bug database, across global boundaries.
The role typically requires full-time work Monday to Friday, starting at 9 : 00am.
Location : Alvento Business Park, Vía de los Poblados, 1-3, 28033 Madrid.
Responsibilities
- Ensure games and applications provide the best user experience by being linguistically bug-free.
- Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and cultural correctness.
- Learn and follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards.
- Use bug databases to write detailed bug reports and communicate issues clearly.
- Own and verify that bugs are fixed and implemented correctly.
- Become the LQA Expert across a range of indie to AAA projects and areas of specialization.
- Own, manage, create, and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle, including documentation, LQA processes, and reporting methods.
- Participate in test requirement gathering with developers to ensure Localization QA supports all features.
- Identify improvements, take ownership of additional activities, and create efficiencies in workflow.
- Cooperate with the QA team.
