Syntax has offices worldwide, and partners with Oracle, SAP, AWS, Microsoft, IBM and other global technology leaders.As a Network Architect (m / f / d), you will be responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of complex network and communication solutions — both for our customers as part of our Managed Services, and for our internal data center services.Your exciting tasks will include : - Designing and planning network architectures (Solution Design) for customer projects, including the creation of solution concepts, network diagrams, and definition of required hardware and software components.- Technical provider and partner management (e.G., Cisco, Riverbed, Fortinet), including collaboration with service providers to deliver WAN connections (e.G. VPN, MPLS, Internet).- Supporting the presales team in preparing proposals and cost calculations, as well as participating in customer meetings.- Technical responsibility for WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Firewall services, including the introduction of new products and training for sales and technical teams.Your Profile- Extensive experience in planning and implementing complex network architectures and passive infrastructures.- Experience in working with providers and partners in the networking sector. Knowledge of WAN, LAN, WLAN technologies, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet) and authentication methods (e.G. 802.1X, Cisco Identity Service Engine).- Expertise in common routing protocols.- Desired : Know‑how of Citrix ADC NetScaler & Cisco WSA solutions, as well as routing and switching within SDN Cisco ACI.- ITIL knowledge.- Entrepreneurial mindset, independent working style, and a very high level of service orientation.- Excellent English skills are mandatory.Mandatory Requirements- Nationality or Work Authorization : Spanish or Portuguese nationality, or alternatively a permanent work permit / VISA for Spain or Portugal.Why Syntax?Become a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
