Sets metrics for all activities, maximizes ROI, and reports on marketing effectiveness and budgets.Creates and leads campaigns to promote the brand, services, and products, translating business objectives into channel marketing goals, strategies, and tactics that drive awareness and consideration.Develops and directs channel marketing plans informed by the competitive landscape and suited to the regulatory environment. Aligns activities with a deep understanding of business strategy, client needs, and offer strategy.Defines digital requirements to generate a world-class customer experience and journeys that enable clients to serve themselves, and highlights opportunities for sales teams based on client behavior across web, email, and events.Delivers effective digital and face-to-face events strategies to build brand awareness and drive advocacy for Vanguard's thought leadership and product expertise.Creates innovative campaigns and content that champion the Vanguard brand and products, ensuring consistent visuals, tone of voice, and messaging across all content, working with media buying agencies to leverage media opportunities.Partners with PR, content, and key business teams to identify new opportunities to amplify the brand, grow the audience, and drive engagement through social media, email, and content.Builds and fosters effective relationships, especially within cross-collaboration working groups. Proactively facilitates communication between internal departments and external stakeholders. Influences key decisions across stakeholder groups.Proactively identifies, manages, and mitigates risks related to channel marketing activities. Communicates solutions on key issues to management and stakeholders to obtain input and buy-in as appropriate.Regularly communicates the status and issues of marketing activities to stakeholders, including distribution teams, senior leadership, and team members.Serves as a trusted advisor and internal expert to ensure appropriate solutions are developed for stakeholders and supports fellow marketing team members.Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.Skills / Experience
- Significant, demonstrable related work experience, including relevant channel marketing experience, preferably in a bank, asset manager, or related firm.
- Experience in the Spanish adviser and wholesale segments, ideally within financial services or asset management. Reasonable understanding of ETFs and mutual funds.
- Excellent project management, leadership, planning, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a history of being a team player.
- Ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Proven experience developing and implementing successful, measurable marketing strategies, with an emphasis on engagement with existing clients.
- Required marketing qualification or equivalent work experience. Additional experience in product management or client service is preferred but not required.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with proficiency suitable for business communication.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Marketing or equivalent experience required.
