Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.

The successful candidate will have a solid knowledge of GL accounting, experience in accounts reconciliation, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities :

• Taking care of statutory accounting and tax accounting for designated areas.
• Performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Preparing information for filing monthly, quarter, and yearly taxes and other miscellaneous filings.
• Acting as a liaison with business partners by answering inquiries and explaining accounting procedures.
• Recording, creating, and distributing invoices for monthly fees and royalties, setting up ACH files for collections, maintaining Accounts Receivable (A / R) balances.
• Driving Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounting best practices.
• Supporting and driving processes implementation and improvement.
• Supporting and driving design of accounting policies and procedures.
• Working with internal and external auditors where required.
• Providing support for the integration of the new ERP / Finance System.
• Participating in ad hoc analytics, projects, and initiatives.
• Acting as senior subject matter expert in accounting matters.
