Senior Network Engineer

Location : Madrid (Work center in Arganda del Rey). Modality : Hybrid (60% on-site).

At Exceltic, we are hiring a Core Network & Network Senior Engineer with strong telecom and satellite background to join an ambitious project involving 5G Core Networks and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). You'll be part of a high-tech, international team working at the forefront of telecom innovation.

Responsibilities

• Define 5G Core Network system requirements for a multi-orbit satellite system.
• Define the high-level software and hardware architecture of the 5G CN.
• Prepare implementation and testing plans for proposed subsystems.
• Provide technical oversight to subcontractors on deep understanding of mobile network architecture : Core Network (CN); Radio Access Network (RAN).
• Proven experience with 3GPP standards and implementation of Core Network subsystems : control plane interfaces.
• Experience in development and testing of 4G / 5G systems.
• Expertise in virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Experience in technology R&D project management.
• Solid knowledge of 5G-NTN and New Radio Non-Terrestrial Networks.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Working on innovative, high-impact telecom and space projects.
