About the RoleWe are currently seeking a
Customer Quality Engineer
to join our modern manufacturing site in
Martorell, Spain. You will act as a key interface between Lear and our customers, ensuring all quality standards are met and exceeding customer expectations. Support daily quality operations and lead initiatives to drive continuous improvement within the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Act as main quality representative for customer-related issues and inquiries
Support manufacturing and supplier teams to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements
Lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions using industry-standard tools (8D, Ishikawa, etc.)
Participate in internal and external audits and ensure follow-up on any non-conformities
Manage quality documentation in accordance with APQP / PPAP processes
Collaborate cross-functionally to monitor and improve quality KPIs
Support new product launches and engineering changes from a quality perspective
What We’re Looking For
University degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the automotive industry
Strong knowledge of quality systems and tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA)
Customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proactive, problem-solving attitude and ability to work well under pressure
Spanish or Catalan is aplus
