Job Description :
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our organization's success. You will be responsible for providing support to the deployment team, participating in troubleshooting sessions, and reviewing infrastructure-related documentation.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform and a strong interest in infrastructure technologies. They should also be familiar with working in an agile software development environment and have a proven track record of deploying applications and managing builds using tools like Argo CD, Red Hat Cluster Manager, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, and Openshift.
Key responsibilities include deploying and managing applications, Kubernetes resources, and Helm charts within OpenShift environments, configuring OpenShift clusters, and managing configurations through GitOps practices. The successful candidate will also automate deployment workflows and platform configurations using Ansible Tower, review and correct contractor-provided configurations to align with company standards, and act as a liaison between contractors and the company to ensure effective communication and resolution of issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor or Master degree
7 years of IT experience
4 years of experience as DevOps Engineer
Strong interest in infrastructure technologies with a willingness to learn and explore emerging trends
Familiarity with working in an agile software development environment
Hands-on experience with tools and platforms like OpenShift, Argo CD, Red Hat Cluster Manager, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, and Terraform
Proven track record of deploying applications and managing builds using tools like Argo CD, Red Hat Cluster Manager, Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, and Openshift
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift, including deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications
Manage OpenShift configurations via GitOps
Proficiency with Docker and ServiceMesh technologies, ensuring smooth operation of microservices in a containerized environment
Experience in bash scripting for automation and task management
Experience building and maintaining CI / CD pipelines for automating testing, building, and deploying applications
Experience working in on-premises environments (VMware)
Strong ability to work in a collaborative environment, participating in design discussions and supporting cross-functional teams
Experience working in international / multicultural environments, demonstrating adaptability and collaboration
Analytical mindset to assess infrastructure performance and make data-driven recommendations
Fluent in English
