About your role

As our Packaging TPL you will project support for a variety of packaging challenges in sustainability such as moving to 100% sustainable packaging and achieving recycled content ambitions and legal requirements. You will contribute to the NPD commitments of the packaging team to drive profitable growth and volume, working with external bottlers across Europe, Africa and the Caribbean. You will ensure a high standard of quality for packaging materials and packaging processes.

What You'll Do

Contribute to development and industrialization of new or renovated pack on productions lines with a high quality level / standards according to marketing brief, consumer expectations and regulations.

Contribute to defining sustainability plans, monitor and achieve sustainability strategy targets with Eco conception mindset.

Support production line transfer projects by leading the packaging validation.

Be the project leader with project management best practice on packaging focused projects.

Coordinate stakeholders to achieve product launch successfully in terms of cost / quality / timing including industrial tests and 1st production organization and follow-up.

Lead risk matrix analysis on the project with relevant expert stakeholders and build risk mitigation action plan.

Propose and contribute to cost reduction projects : on raw materials, production efficiency, rationalization.

Be support of factories and quality department on problem solving about packaging using kaizen methodology.

Pack category model

POC for internal / external stakeholders for one pack category.

Proactive watch on the category and way of working improvement linked to the category.

Co-lead creation of packaging Bill of Materials (BOM) in the packaging technical library.

Co-lead creating and maintaining packaging specifications in the packaging technical library.

Pack watch

Support with identifying, researching and recommending new packaging solutions driving future growth of the business.

Support relationship with local environmental / recycling agencies.

Could be in charge of co-building action plan to ensure compliance of our portfolio to new local / regional requirements.

What You need to be successful

Engineer or Master 2 University Degree : Food science / Technology / Packaging.

Experience in FMCG

Experience of working with commercial and operations colleagues.

Track record of leading through influence.

Fluent in English, other language is a plus.

Broad, hands-on practical experience, within a manufacturing or technical environment working within food and / or beverage products.
