About the Role

We’re looking for a forward-thinking Quality Assurance Champion to join our product development teams. This is not a traditional QA role focused on testing at the end of the cycle. Instead, you’ll be a collaborative coach and enabler, working alongside developers, product managers, and designers to embed quality practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

You’ll help shape a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility, driving initiatives that improve testing strategies, automation, tooling, and continuous delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embed quality early in the development process through shift-left testing, risk-based analysis, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Coach teams on testing best practices including TDD, BDD, exploratory testing, and test design.
  • Collaborate on tooling strategy, selecting and integrating test automation frameworks and CI / CD quality gates.
  • Facilitate quality workshops, retrospectives, and pairing sessions to foster continuous learning.
  • Lead cross-team initiatives to define and share quality standards, reusable assets, and lessons learned.
  • Monitor and improve quality metrics, using data to drive decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Advocate for sustainable quality, balancing speed, reliability, and user experience.
  • Best Practices You’ll Champion

  • Shift-left testing and early feedback loops
  • Test automation across unit, integration, and end-to-end layers
  • Exploratory testing and heuristics-based approaches
  • Continuous integration and deployment with quality gates
  • Observability and monitoring for production confidence
  • Collaborative ownership of quality across roles
  • Objectives & Milestones

    What You Will Bring

  • Proven experience in software testing, quality engineering, or quality coaching within agile teams
  • Strong understanding of modern testing strategies and automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Postman)
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Excellent facilitation and communication skills
  • Passion for mentoring and enabling others
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide improvement
  • Bonus Skills

  • Experience with observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Datadog, Prometheus)
  • Familiarity with contract testing, chaos engineering, or performance testing
  • Background in software development or test architecture
