Job Opportunity :
The primary responsibility of the Casino Cashier is to receive and exchange various forms of monetary transactions, including cash, chips, checks, credit, and other notes for guests visiting the casino.
- At least two years of experience handling cash in a customer-facing role within the hotel banking, casino, or related industry is required.
- Proven customer service skills are essential to interact with guests in a courteous, professional, and positive manner.
- The ability to communicate effectively with guests, department heads, and colleagues to resolve problems and negotiate resolutions is crucial.
- A high level of accuracy is required when counting chips and paper currency.
- Familiarity with operating coin counters, chip mechanisms, 10-key adding machines, and related equipment is necessary.
- Basic math skills are required for counting chips, cash, coins, and preparing reconciliation reports.
- A working knowledge of computers, internet access, and the ability to navigate software packages like Excel and Word is beneficial.
- A minimum of high school education or equivalent is preferred.
- Proficiency in recognizing and counting coins and paper currency in US dollars quickly and accurately is essential.
